Yes Big Barn is licensed for weddings, civil partnerships and other civil ceremonies.

When the entire barn complex is hired, you also get exclusive use of the two private camping fields, even if you do not want to have your guests camping there.

The Bar in Big Barn closes at midnight. Guests can stay late inside the Barns once the Bar is closed and the music has finished, but please keep voices down when leaving the buildings.

The registrar does not allow alcohol to be served or even visible during the wedding ceremony. A fully staffed bar operates at the back of Big Barn which is screened from view during the ceremony, but open for the afternoon and evening. We like you to organise the spaces at the Barns in a way that suits you. There are however a few restrictions. Up to 120 people can be seated and we provide three different plans for you to consider, on our Table Plans page.

How you organise the tables is entirely up to you and it depends on how many guests you have and what kind of seating you want, either banqueting style around groups of tables pushed together or around individual tables, or a more informal buffet style. There is some hard standing around the barns, for at most 20 vehicles if it is well organised, but most guests should use the Wedding car park just inside the entrance on the Campsite driveway.  You can drop passengers at the gates to the barns and then the driver can park the car.  Please [...]
