Camping fields and vehicle bays

  • Camping fields are green grass for tents, where you can choose your own pitch with a few bays, with a few bays for tents wanting EHU. All tent camping is separate from the cars which are parked nose in to the fields, separated from tents by rocks or tree plantations or else in designated parking fields at the back of the site. Campers vehicles must be no larger than 6m long.
  • Van bays are mostly along hedgerows, with hard standing of gravel or reinforcing for the vehicle – not concrete as we want a natural environment. Beside the parking area is grassy space for a small puptent or awning.  Vans 6 – 7m long can only be accommodated in lakeside bays, where Bay 1 is secluded under trees and bays 2 – 6 side by side overlooking the lake. No puptents, gazebos or stand along awnings can be accommodated here.
  • Firepoints are located throughout the campsite and have fire extinguishers as well as water taps: all taps on site have treated drinking water. But please use sparingly in hot weather.
