The Barns
The Llyn Gwynant Barns are charming 18th-century stone farm buildings beside the beautiful Llyn (Lake) Gwynant. Three adjoining barns are in the complex: the Big Barn, where the ceremony and reception are held, Tall Barn which forms the entrance and Kitchen Barn with large commercial kitchen.
The Big Barn is a wonderful large room with a peaked slate roof and exposed beams. Tall oak windows line one side and bi-fold doors open up to a slate terrace overlooking the lake. The room is licensed for weddings and is the perfect place for your ceremony, with a stage at one end and space for seating a maximum of 120 people. This is a wonderful room for all kind of dancing, including ceilidhs and barn dances.
Celebrate in your own style by decorating the barns as you wish.
Sound levels are monitored by staff and bands must finish by 12 midnight. The music can continue at a lower level from playlists until the small hours if you wish.
