Accommodation
Llyn Gwynant Barns have two beautiful fields running down to the lake which ensure privacy and can be used for outdoor celebrations or for guest camping as there are toilets and showers nearby. Your guests can simply bring their own tents at no additional charge or you can create your own mini-festival glamping site by hiring glamping Bell tents from Bear Necessities, see below. No other tent providers are allowed on site. A few electric hookups with hard standing for motor-homes or caravans are at the top of Barn field and in Barn yard, also free with the hire. Please ensure guests know where to park or pitch as wedding guests cannot stay on the public campsite. There are also alpine style platforms in Tall barn that can accommodate 15 – 20 people for guest sleeping though no beds or bedding are supplied.
Non-camping guests have many options too. They can hire Plas Colwyn, a luxury mansion that can accommodate up to 22 people in the heart of Beddgelert, a charming village just 6 miles away. Even closer are a range of options including pods, lodge or apartments of Red Dragon Holidays, only 2 miles down the road.

Red Dragon Holidays offer a range of well-priced accommodation just 2 miles from the Llyn Gwynant Barns. An 18th century farmhouse has been tastefully converted to create Aran, Snowdon, Tryfan and Sygun cottages. There is also Maple Lodge a timber cabin styled into a cosy retreat, as well as 5 Camping Pods.

Plas Colwyn Beddgelert
Plas Colwyn (Colwyn Mansion) is a fabulous historic self catering holiday home in Beddgelert, Snowdonia. A beautiful historic stone house in the centre of the village of Beddgelert, just 6 miles from Llyn Gwynant, Plas Colwyn retains many original features and has been welcoming visitors to the area since the early 1800’s. This grade 2 listed building is perfect for large groups, sleeping 18 in 9 bedrooms, with the possibility of 2 extra people in the house and 2 more in an annexe that is only available with the house.
